School Starts, 7:45 - 8:00
Arrive at school by 8:00 A.M., walk upstairs to classroom, and prepare for class.
Bible, 8:00 - 8:30
Memorize Bible verses every week and participate in daily Bible lessons.
English, 8:30 - 10:00
English clash consists of grammar, literature, and spelling/poetry. Students constantly learn new techniques in grammar and must be prepared for pop quizzes in literature. Spelling quizzes are administered on a weekly basis, and there are also poems to write or recite after memorization.
Math, 10:00 - 11:00, 11:45 - 12:15
This is math class, where students must manage to keep up with the hundreds of formulas and mathematical operations they use every day. This class is broken into two segments by lunch.
Lunch, 11:05-11:35 (restroom 11:35-11:45)
This is the time where you can relax and sit back while enjoying your lunch! Afterwards, you get to use the restroom and it's straight back to math class.
History and Science, 12:15-1:50 (pack up 1:50-1:55)
History and science is the last core class for eighth grade. One must be wary for pop quizzes that "pop up" every couple days or so. The content is very interesting and intriguing. After the class period finishes, students pack up their book bags up and engage in an extracurricular activity as described on the extracurricular activities page.
Extracurricular activities, 1:55 - 2:55 (leave school 2:55 - 3:10)
After participating in extracurricular activities, students are picked up by their parents and leave behind a hard day's work. But don't forget homework! This wraps up a day in the life of an eight grader at Providence Christian School.
